What GPU for this PC?

Hi everyone!
I'm updating my pc, and i'm thinking to buy a new graphic card (at moment, intel provide integrated 3d engine).
Those are PC's specs:

WINDOWS 10 pro 64 bit S.O.
RAM 8192 Mb
CPU Intel Core i5-6400 @2.70GHz (Quad Core)

(I use an heavy modded GWX3.0, with Conus' SH3GWXWS2.3)

What is, for you, a good graphic card with good performance, total compatibility and medium-low price?

What should i evitate at all? What GPU are incompatible?

I use an AMD Radeon R9 270. It runs the 2 sims I currently play (SH5 & IL2) on the highest graphics settings with no problems.

Should GeForce GTX 1030\1050 also be compatible with this system for run SH3?

The Nvidia 1030 is a HTPC Card. Not for gaming!

Nvidia GTX 1050 or AMD RX 460 is a good entrance level card.Nvidia GTX 1050 has 2gb RAM, AMD RX 460 4GB RAM

I prefer Radeon cards for Silent Hunter games. For years with Nvidia cards, sun glare has failed to show up properly in SH3 and SH4. Instead, the sun is just a circle in the sky. I never once had this problem with Radeon. Aside from that, however, no major problems with either manufacturer.

Right now I have GTX 660Ti's in SLI; they work very well, even though they are old. Aside from the sun glare issue.

If i well remember, i read time ago a solution for this bug. Something like reducing antialiasing? I need a search for this!

Exactly correct my friend, if you or IABL would like I have a nvidia profile for Nvidia Inspector that works perfectly in regard to the sun glare issue, both with and without sli support You shoud be able to see some screenies in the screenshot thread for examples;
