Why? You have a hard time with one? I've been running them since the 9800 came out (All NVidia before that). They have been good to me ever since!

No, I just prefer NVIDIA. Like in your case, they've been good to me always. Only game I cant run on max atm with my GF8800GTS is Crysis, but then again, there's so much unneccessary stuff it renders it doesnt matter.

At what res? I turn all the DX10 max details on with a lesser card, though I back it off to 1280 or 1024 depending on if I am recording or not.

I have a 8800GT, but I might have a look at this one, it seems to be good value for money.

If only I had a new computer to put it in, I would buy it.

My computer is 5 years old now. I guess it is time to start saving some money to buy a new one.

I've used Nvidia for a long time, but unless they reduce the size of their unnecessarily large cards, i'll be going back to ATI, which i thought I'd never do!

I just bought a 8800GTS 512, and the bloody thing is even bigger than i thought! I have to use a hacksaw to make it fit!!!! Compare it to my mates new ATI card, half the size.... its tempting..

Here is the reason - they can never make a die this size cheaply - and it doesn't even perform that well considering how many transistors are packed on it! Look!
