Boy I would like to see eisenwurst's girlfriend (in his last postings) dance to this one. I bet her mother was a go go girl from the 60's

I like the Eagles too, Mr. Q. I well remember the " Reunion Tour " Good stuff.

I have the album I posted as well. You mentioned Southern Rock. Ironically, I had a conversation with a friend of mine a couple weeks ago as to what constitutes Southern Rock. His answer was that Southern Rock combines Blues and Country Music with Gospel Music. I'm not sure if that's accurate but as a music teacher once told me, If it sounds good, it is good.

Another Great Southern Rock band for you, Fumo. Sadly, only slide guitarist Gary Rossington remains from the original Lynard Skynyrd. Rest in Peace boys.

I agree, thats a pretty good sounding definition.

Yeah, R.I.P. boys.

Havin' goosebumps while listening to this. Thank you.

This also has something to do with southern states... I guess.

Here's a different kind of music.

Not sure if this has been posted before, but there is nothing as glorious as lighting off a B-A'd Fairbanks Morse.

When I was on the Barbel (SS580) I would hustle to complete my pre-underways so I could take a "smoke break" on the pier when M-Div lit off her three engines to warm them up.
The closest experience to this would be standing near an old aircraft with radial engines when they were started.

*- Note that some sneaky kaleuns off a u-boat have sneaked aboard.

Even though it's not her genre, you could always ask her. You never know, she could surprise you

Seeing Andy warhol in this clip I can't help thinking of Karl Lagerfeld who died recently. They looked so much alike.

I knew buggerall about KL except that he was a giant in the fashion world, but the eulogies in the nightly news broadcasts revealed that he was a great bloke, kind and generous. RIP.
