Default AOD works !?!?

Doing some software cleaning out (much needed), and came across my old floppy version of AOD. Have the cd version too.

Haven't loaded it in years on a non-dos box, because of the usual problems.

However, that was always with the cd version. On a whim, loaded up the *floppy* version on an old P4 I have, and it runs perfectly ! Sound, everything. SB live soundcard, no less, Win98 restarted in dos mode.

Has to be slowed down of course, but I was surprised it even started/ran.

So, if it hasn't been mentioned before, maybe one or more of the extras on the cd version is the culprit more than anything.

Anyway, fwiw.

Default

I was able to get it to run on my old computer running Win98...but without the sound. That's a little too much 'silent' hunter for me.
