Ok so I just reinstalled the sim and made sure it works. Its now time for the mods.
can you guys give me some mod loadout ideas

Improved Ship Physics 1.1

This provides many improvements with only five mods. RFB (Real Fleet Boat) aims to achieve the most realistic gameplay and changes many elements. RSRDC (Run Silent Run Deep Campaign) changes shipping traffic and missions to historical volume/pattern. Stock has excessive traffic and isn't well configured.

ISP makes the diving, turning, acceleration, battery performance, and sea-keeping of your boat more realistic.

Note that you must have v1.5 of Silent Hunter 4 to run these mods (and most others).

I daresay you'll get lots of alternative suggestions, all of them equally good, so the only thing I'll suggest is MultiSH4, then you don't have to restrict yourself to one configuration. Make one clean install and copy that to it's own RFB folder and mod it there - rinse and repeat for TMO, OM etc - They're all worth your time - But I'm greedy

Edit: I'm a fan of Cap'n Scurvy's OTC mod. It has it's own thread so a discussion of the pro's and con's is best done there, but I'd encourage you to check it out and consider adding it if you're going to be using manual targeting.

Mod soup , is what you do not want....lol, this is what we usually call it when you get too many MOD's conflicting with each other.

RFB is good, or TMO, but I will suggest you try just the one MOD at first ( either TMO, or RFB or some other ), before you go adding all kinds of other to it.....avoid the MOD soup this way.

I have got to the daily limit for downloads from subsim but i still need Improved Ship Physics 1.1

as mentioned, mod soup is a term used to describe a messed up game that wont work right so the term you used to ask for a mod list to use may not get as much replies.

in 24 hours you will be able to download again so just wait it out.

its always best when you have a big list of mods you want, to prioritise them and see what can be downloaded at other sites first before you hit your download limit. that way you can get the main mods you want going until tomorrow when you get more downloads.

be aware its based on the time of your last download and not what day it is.
