nVidia 9800GTX 1GB in my desktop PC, and nVidia 8400M GS up to 1GB in my laptop.

And the usual stuff now is 512 at least, I don't see decent cards with less.

Cheers

Wow, 1GB on the graphics card!

I would have thought that would be getting into the Liquid Cooled area

A friend of mine just finished his liquid cooled computer, pretty nifty.

Some very powerful video cards around here. I must say I'm impressed and [a little] surprised.

If you guys have an older card, please vote. It's important to get a correct view of actual situation.

Maybe it should also be recognized that a certain amount of graphics memory does not present the power of a video card to play a high detailed game with lots of polygons.

For example: a Radeon 3650 with 1GB memory is not capable of displaying good FPS in modern games because of the slow GPU!

@the dev team

what about the importance of multi CPU systems?
For example: SH3 (SH4 I do not really know) only supports 1 CPU and in situations with several AI units the FPS is very dependend on the CPU and with higher CPU frequency the FPS improves.

I think a modern engine should minimum use 2 CPU cores.
What do you think dev team?

best greetings
Han

well its kinda sh4's fault lol, we or i should say i and many others had no choice but to upgrade our computer just to play sh4 properly so naturally we made the smart move of getting a quality video card at that time out of self preservation more than not minding paying for an expensive card.

after all most video cards are outdated before you can get home to install them

its not reflected anywhere in the poll but i would bet many upgraded to quad cpu's at that time too, i know i did.
