The riddle thread

Been thinking on making this thread for month. I myself is very bad in solving riddles.

I have not a riddle myself that you can try to solve. I therefore hope the first person who read this has a riddle we can try to solve.

The rules are almost the same as in our other puzzle threads

1. The winner has the ball and can post a riddle. If the person doesn't have any riddle to post, he or she can let someone else do it.

2. The person who have posted the riddle can, as in who want to be a millionaire, give us 3 hints. If he or she wants to.

No, Have had this idea since Jim made his what-where who thread and after I had created my image-puzzle thread. Remember it, then I forget about it, then I remember it.

That was Tarjak's 'who what where' thread! Jimbuna effectively ended the who what where thread and your images thread with puzzles which remain unsolved??!! The riddle is: are we too stupid to solve them or...did he intend to end the threads cleverly as moderator!?

The only solution I can come up with is this

These two dogs is a male and a female dog-you let them breed and get a puppy and when this puppy is old enough(12 weeks in Denmark and Sweden) you give that puppy to another person and you still have two dogs.

Name one of them one, and the other both. Give away one, and you'll still have Both.

A man lives on the seventh floor in a block of flats, he takes the lift to the ground floor every day he goes to work. When coming home he takes the lift back up to the fourth floor and walks up the stairs back to the seventh floor, why?

The lift only goes to the fourth floor so he probably has to walk down from the seventh to the fourth to take the lift to the ground...

He's a janitor; the cleaning-cupboard is on the ground floor and it's his job only to clean the stairs from the fourth floor to the seventh?

(@ Rockstar... a block of flats is what we call a tower-block of apartments)
