Transforming mk14 to homing torpedoes

Hello everyone,

As in the title, can i mod my mk14 torpedoes to transform them in homing torpedoes?

Thanks already for you patience ^_^

Ps: I think that if i mod them then load a game where i'm already at sea they will get the homing feature, or did i misundertand how the modding of the torpedoes works?
