It seems to stop between 26 and 30 ft., and after that, it is like being on rails. This is true, even when the waves are very large, and the shears/tower are periodically exposed - very unrealistic.
It sounds like Ubi didn't convert from metric to imperial and just used 25-30 for both when setting max depth for wave effect. In meters it's right, in feet it's far too shallow.
