Is there any way to get rid of the colored ships ( red, green, or blue ) that appear on the map? I'll have one appear at around 50 km when there would be no way I could see that far. I don't want to know a ship is there until I can see it or find it on sonar. And, I don't want to know what nationality it is until I can identify it's flag.

Thanks.

The ones that seem to appear on the map outside of visual range are "radio contacts". You don't get radio messages for them, but they're supposedly reported to you.

As for contact colors, there is the "Extended Challenge Black Contacts" mod (supplied with LSH).

Thank you both for the replies. I'll do what each suggested.

I do get reports on convoys being in my area, but I still don't want it showing up on the map. I want to go look for it.

Get CTD at times with either GWX or LSH3 loaded. This started after upgrade to Win 8.1. Normal install of SH3 runs ok. Also "SmartScreen" stops some of the files from loading. Wants to know who the publisher is? I run this on an Allenware R4 PC with 16GB of ram. Hope this helps. Have run both Mega Mods since 2010 with no problems. Have LSH3 installed in a Games folder not in default.

Ran Win 8.1 compatibility troubleshooter program. PC now runs LSH3 in Win XP SP3 mode. So far so good! Turned "SmartScreen" off in Action Center. Will see how this runs. Have run 6 patrols without a CTD. Have loaded saved games with no CTD.12-16-13 @ 15:22

SHO LSH WEBSITE

Hi,

I tried to access the www.lsh3.com website today to check for any news about the forth coming release of lsh3 v6 and the link had been hijacked by an advertiser and the security certificate is dodgy. I don't know if you are still maintaining the site but I thought I should let you know about it.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Default Win 8.1 SmartScreen and LSH3

Turned "Smart Screen" back on and haven't had a CTD for two patrols. I have to think that Win Compatibility troubleshooter fixed the problem and Smart Screen was not the bad guy after all. LSH3 runs in a Win XP SP3 mode now.

Hello friends, First Merry Christmas to all. I would like to know when they will release the 6.0 version of LSH, as I plan to mount it first with version 5.1, and if not wait. It may continue the campaign importing items from 5.1 to 6.0? I have read in a previous post that may be so. Thank you very much, and Merry Christmas.

Hello LSH3-Friends,

I am sorry, but I have to tell you that we will not be able to release LSH3_v6 in this year.

Some of our testers encountered a CTD when exiting SH3.
The test to find this error took us more than a week.

Therefore we will have to push the release-date into January.

Nevertheless we wish you a Happy New Year

Default LSH V6 JANUARY RELEASE

Ahoy Blueduck the best things in life are worth waiting for and everyone who is waiting for the LSH V6 release will be all the more happier that the CTD issues have been resolved even if LSH V6 is delayed by 4-6 weeks
also gives me more time adding Convoys to the LSH V5.1 SCR Lair for the
for the Steel sharks Campaign restart

Tell me what's the difference between LSHv6 and GWX3 with the right combo of mods?

How are the sinking mechanics? Graphics? Gameplay? Give us the real Low lowdown
