Water reflections

Hi everybody. Since i've bought the game, i have a big problem with water reflections. Let me explain my problem. When i'm too close to a ship, the water's color changes in red or black. And i have no mirror effect. And under the water, there is a small picture of my u-boot on the surface. This is absolutely not acceptable, and i would prefer no reflections at all !

Has somebody any solution ? Where does the problem come from ?

What version of the game do you have, and what mods are you using?

With GWX 3, LSH3, and even without any mod, i have this problem. I don't understand why !

Nobody else had this horrible effect ?? I think the problem could come from my graphics card, but I'm not sure... It's the only abnormal graphic effect in the game...

Notes on my computer :
- processor = intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU, 2 GHz (speed : 1,95 GHz)
- directX 9.0c

So... Do you have an idea Sinkmore ? In another post (I don't remember where), I have read that the water effects have been imported from SH4 by a modder who had adapted them for SH3. How does the water reflections seem in your SH3 game without any mod ? Are they improved by a super mod ?
