Very nice model, high poly or not. I love it! Just a question: will you put some platforms\guns, and\or liferafts on it? Best regards, and thanks! Vd

1 ship model, a roster list for countries that would have used said ship... with a multitude of different skins to reflect different paint schemes, based on the time frame. That, sort of layout call, for the ship model... correct Me, if I am wrong... would & should also work with say... different parts/equipment calls, as well... I would imagine. M. M.

Try something like this in the Roster file.
[Texture 1] TextureName=data/Sea/NBB_Colorado/NBB_Colorado_T01.tga StartDate=19000101 EndDate=19991231 Frequency=1 |

I love your C1-B type cargo ship model, keep up the great work Alex and keep them awesome ships coming.
Just curious though, do you have any plans to maybe make a C1-A and C1-M models to complete the C1 set of cargos, and maybe even expand on your C2 type cargo by making C2-S-AJ1, C2-S-AJ3 and C2-S-E1 models as they were the four most numerous C2 variations built along with the C2-S-B1 which you already have? references/sources https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Type_C1_ship http://www.usmm.org/c1ships.html http://www.usmm.org/c2ships.html

Whatever is the correct class name, those sturdy ships saw an extensive Atlantic service from the initial stages of the war, being employed in a variety of roles, from coastal guard to convoy protection. They were some of the most effective US ASW vessels too. I am surprised that no one has modelled them before, though the lack of detailed plans with hull lines might be part of the answer. |
