Default Ship sinking not registered

So, i saved before and sunk 7x this particular ship (an empire freighter) now.

Each time results in no recorded sinking. Tried deck gun, 1 torp, spreads of 2, 3, 4 torps, rear torp and even ramming her.

Nothing recorded.

Any solution?

Thanks.

SHO Re: Ship sunk, no record...

Possible solution.... if you have a save prior to it showing up, on the map... follow through with going to the site of it, scope out if it is indeed that ship & just avoid trying to sink it... as obviously, it is a bugged ship. Waste no ammo on it, and then proceed on with your patrol. This is what I did with a couple that I ran across, that did the same thing that you have ran into here.

The save is several hours in game before ship comes into sonar range (with me personally manning sonar).

Mods are gwx 3, 1.6 patch with 4gb patch.

Thank ýou all for replies. Im just gonna ignore hèr and move on to other ships. Didnt meet my minimum tonnage anyway. Just intrigued me as i missed my original target and she sank unregistered instead. Would hate it to happen with a battleship or aircraft carrier.

This is imo well known SH3 issue described in GWX 3.0 manual - 50 km Rules, page 17 paragraph 2.

At least you still have the satisfaction you have served the Fatherland in it's Final Victory!

But yeah it's a known SH3 unfortunately.

Also there was a bug where you did not receive credit for sinkings in your first patrol, that is why it is recommended doing a "shakedown" cruise on it and return to port to prepare for the 2nd one.
