German forum Manager 'Ubi Marc' just declared in the German SHIV board every other action than voting in the Ubi thread is considered 'unnecessary', further on he's trying to make jokes about the subsim petition. 'Best regards to Neal', he wrote, as I posted to report about the newborn PR desaster inhere.

Check http://mpgtext.net/ubrs/The-News/Lat...-200705212534/,

There I've copied the relevant parts of the original thread, just in case

So go voting - shut up and give UBI your money.

Well, i'm not going to vote on UBI's website.....yes i know, i'm gonna get shot for saying it but here's my reasoning. This is the subsim community I belong to, not UBI's. I've signed the petition in this community. It does carry weight regardless of what some "forum manager" says. I am not going to register with yet another site, hosted by the company that sold me a duff game, and then vote (plead) them to fix the fecking thing.

For me its simple. The product is a duff. They should fix it. If they don't, europe's excellent consumer laws will enable me to return it and get a refund. Furthermore, I will cease to buy UBI products again. Did the same with Sony and have enjoyed life ever since.

Simple simple simple......err.....simple, just like me

It's not serious from their side (Ubi) to depreciate Subsim as for many skippers it is a heart of community.
(Just look at Subsim 1.3 thread (over 1000 "votes") and "official" Ubi SH4 forum (~500 votes).
Ehm...

I'm with Uber Gruber on this one. A vote to see if they should do their job properly?

Mmm let me think about that for a second. Are they taking the p*ss?

And we have to register on the site to do it to... They know about the petition thread on Subsim, and while not every SH4 user comes to Subsim, it should be apparent from Neal's petition and everyone who has the game/sim/travesty who put their name on that thread, that it bloody well needs fixing. And that's not something that needs debating, it needs doing.

I think some of the people who wrote the glowing reviews in the various trade magazines, etc, about SHIV graphics etc ought to step up to the plate on this one too. Many assumed the patch would take care of the glitches. Otherwise, Ubi gets to ride the wave of rave reviews without having to finish the product. Joe S

Can't believe they think this game is done. It needs "at least" two more patchs.

voted, but I am quite sure it will not turn the page...

I think SH4 needs at least 5 more patches to be a good sim. the list of bugs is long. very long...

SH3 was left back 1.4b with still lots of broken things and now they even think of running away AGAIN with SH4? What is next?

Message received UBI! I will not buy anything from you again...
