SH4 In Widescreen...YES!!!
I did a search on the forum for this and didn't find anything, so I thought I would post this. (If there was, sorry for the repeat.)
I was curious if "Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific" would support widescreen gaming for those of us who have widescreens. The answer is YES!!! Below is the response I received from Ubisoft tech team. FYI... Response (TRENT) - 03/08/2007 12:18 PM Mr. *******, As far as I know, Silent Hunter: Wolves of the Pacific will have full support for widescreen resolutions. Customer (***** *******) - 03/07/2007 01:14 PM Just thought some of you might be interested in this since alot of us have widescreens and would like to be able to use them. Cheers!!! |

Yes it will play widescreen, but it does so by zooming in on the regular square 4:3 aspect output, so you actually lose part of the top and bottom of the game video. It doesn't affect the orders bar of course.
