Oxygen setting for H.Sie’s patch
Hello All,
Not sure if this was brought up by someone before but a brief search didn’t yield an answer. In the option selector of H.Sie’s patch, there are sliders for “Oxygen in boat” and “compressed oxygen”, which are defaulted to 2.5 and 2 respectively instead of 1. A brief test shows that with this setting the boat oxygen could last about 18 hours before it drops to 17%. My question is, are these settings (2.5 and 2) realistic? Or shall I use 1 for both? I read some posts about oxygen supply and it has been mentioned by previous U boat veterans multiple times that battery always runs out first, however, they seem to assume the usage of compressed oxygen and air bottles. Thanks a lot! Edit: I assume these settings works across all types of boats, I’m using VII C exclusively so I’d like to know what setting is more realistic for a VIIC boat. Thanks! |

I must be blind!
I just saw this line in the help file: "For users of the NYGM super-mod, values of 2.0 (renewable supply) and 2.0 (non-renewable supply, bottled air) are recommended." Though I don't know why this is the case? |
