Default I just had the shock of my life!!!

Today I was playing around with my IXD2 and found a task force. While I was attacking it I dived to 926 feet to get away from a distroyer. While at 926 ft (I didnt think DC went that far.) I got hit. And started flooding. I couldnt surface, and I started going down. But guess haw far before Imploding. 1,190 feet. Thats possiably the farthest down Ive ever been on a sub.

WOW. That approaching the 400 meter mark.

The big deal is, by all means the boat should have been crushed.

As far as DC's going that depth, the only figure I've ever heard was 146 feet, but that was just in regards to DC's dropped by aircraft.

Late war British heavy Dc's could go that deep and fairly quickly due to
some hydrodynamic improvements.

Teardrops. You can see them at www.de220.com.
