7B vs 7C
Hi to all
This is my first post. English is not my language so excuse me for any grammar typos. What type of sub do you prefer? I am playing vanilla version of SHIII. I do use the B type as i am reluctant to sacrifice the speed as well the submerged distance capabilities that offers over the C type I am on my 1st campaign mid 41's just the time that things are going to get nasty. Oh and another thing. What the the protective rubber coat really offer in the game ? I know that historically made the Uboats undetected by sonar but is that so in SHIII as well ? |

Let's Sink Sumptin' !

I'd stick with the B just because the bow-mounted net-cutter looks cool.

The rubber coating begins to develop at the end of the war and as far as I've read and seen documentaries on a limited number of boats
But it does not help against the minefields laid in such a way that the convoy can pass over them, but for submarine impossible, as is the case with U 480 I currently play in 1944 ,with VIIc/41 model ! |

I would take VIIC from those two (in case I would not have IXB already)
