As I was saying earlier, we really need to post a guard on the Admiral's door, assuming he is there, just to make sure nothing happens to him in the night.

TarJak looks up from his work again. The numbers have stopped dancing and a concerned look comes over his face.

"Lt. Raptor, may I have a word with you? I think we may need to wake the Admiral."

"I'll need more data, but even though the information I have is not conclusive, I'm pretty sure we have something on board that is not human!"

Hmm...do you reckon something might have gotten into the boat when the reactor level was breached? It's not my field, but I do know there are plenty of unknown species living on the ocean's bottom...especially this far down...

TarJak pauses and looks at his screen again scrolling up several hundred lines.

"Marine biology was not my field but from the size of the lacerations on Letums body, I'd say it was pretty large."

TarJaks looks towards the sleeping body of UnderseaLcpl.

"The problem is that we just don't know what we are dealing with. We need to collect more data so we can piece together a picture of what it is."

"We managed to get some readings and measurements in the short time we had before the hatch was closed but it just means we have a very in complete picture at the moment."

"I'm not even sure where Haplo and Jalu are. Neither of them have expertise in marine biology."

"One thing I do know is that there may be more than one of these creatures aboard!"

TarJak yawns and stretches. "Well if we can't rouse the Admiral tonight I might as well get some sleep." "There's no point going over these numbers again, I just don't have enough to go on."

TarJak heads for his bunk and falls into a deep undisturbed sleep almost as soon as his head hits the pillow.
