Less chance at this time of year as the nights are drawing in and the evenings are getting cool. At best what we call a Indian Summer lasting up to a week. Summers last fling before departing.

LOL yeah, be taking a mix of Pesos (for the obligatory exit tax) and Dollars for any spends but seeing as we are all inclusive I should imagine about £300 to 400 worth of each plus a similar amount in £ will suffice.

Building wheels for the first time in flippin ages. Boss has a lot of faith in me...

One step away from an apoplectic fit... after measuring and measuring again, feeding the figures into the calculator, after fitting all 36 spokes, then I realise I need to cut down their length... Oh well, fun to build, so it must be thrice the fun to build, unbuild and build again... It better be

Just enjoying a glass of merlot after my tea: bread & butter with a 3-egg smoked-cheese omelette, and a slice of fried puffball mushroom on the side.

Moira spotted this fungal monster, almost the size of a football, in a field under some trees on the way home earlier... so she jumped out of the car and plucked it from the grass. It's pure white like a huge marshmallow inside... golden and sweet when fried up

I'm still feeling okay...

Quick get down the Co-Op before they close at 11pm and buy beer lots of beer.

Beer cures fungi urge to hug trees and strip off and run naked in the neighbors garden so they say.

There is meanwhile an antidote to Amanita phalloides, colloquially called "Death cap", you just have to be very quick

Yeah I know you're the mushroom expert and Moira knows quite a bit about it too, but I don't think I'd risk any other kind... puffballs are easy to i.d.
