Kriegsmarine - Bismarck battleship - 2022 edition
Hi everyone,
i'm glad to release this new mod: Bismarck class battleship : D\L link:https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/dow...o=file&id=6257 This is the sixth of a serie of units for Kriegsmarine, reworked in collaboration with flush deck. Based on GWX Development Team's Bismarck battleship, 3d model updated using SHV parts and a lot of details (oblos, stairs, cables, lifeboats, glass windows\interiors, turning radars\rangefinders...). If you've also LBSArado in your Data\German\Air\Roster, you can add scout planes to this battleship adding those lines: [AirGroup 1] StartDate=19380101 EndDate=19410527 Squadron1Class=LBSArado Squadron1No=1 to NBB_Bismark.cfg; Library new version with reworked and improved textures, this will improve also other Vd Kriegsmarine ships' gun. ----------------------------------- CREDITS For this 2022 version: Thanks to GWX Development Team for original Bismarck battleship and for permission to use their great work. Thanks to Stefan Thimme for help me with library! Special thanks to flush deck for new fantastic textures, for ship and library also! Thanks to Sphere, who give me permissions to include and modify his searchlights mod (please read original readme included). Thanks also to Anvar1061 for some suggestions about those searchlights and about optimize .eqp files. Thanks to Fifi for suggestions related with guns' reflections. NOTE: In the library new version, there's a couple of reworked weapons based on another library where in the "author info" i can read the name "isinchievici"; i was unable to contact him. He has full credit for his work. If you, who are reading, are the author, please contact me if you want me to remove these guns, or if you want me to modify this disclaimer. There is one caveat. Stock SH3 contains a different deck texture. This should be taken into account.

The problem is that these textures replace the existing ones with a certain algorithm.
It is best to place the new ones in the appropriate replacement folders without deleting the original ones.
