Just purchased a new mixer tap for the kitchen and accepted a quote for newblinds throughout the entire house as well as the conservatory so the bride is happy.

"Blame the big moon"

"Wot big moon? I never sore it..."

Looking through the local tradesman papers for a reliable house decorator in an attempt to end the incessant grumblings of the bride.

She wants the entire house sorted for christmas.....fat chance I reckon.

Just plunked down on a total kitchen remodel from the floor studs up to the light fixtures; work to begin immediately after Thanksgiving till Xmas...I'll essentially B camping out in my own home so the pantry in the garage is well stocked with microwave meals. Otherwise a good investment-return on the house's overall value; the current kitchen is 25 years old. New roof and solar panels to follow methinks. @ Jimbuna: Incessant grumbling here as well! I just don't get it: my bride, a master chef, picked out everything $he want$ and $till no happy-dance!

I've collected some good pc car racing games over time, but it's a bit of a waste of time trying to steer with a keyboard or joystick, so I got a steering-wheel & pedals set this week. What a difference. Best game of the lot, I think, is Test Drive Unlimited.
