As far as I'm aware the incident was never reported as a near miss.

I'll wait for Tchocky to confirm, but I reckon that's safe, the perspective is spot of for a small A300 being closer than the 777. Looks good though.

Yeah, IIRC a lot of twitter and facebook types reposted it with the 'Near Miss' hype, and I think even the Beeb picked up on it...and then they realised that telephoto lenses existed.
