Hey fantastic tutorials, very helpful..just want to ask a question about the dad boot sh5 movie, what sound mod was being used in it? Really liked the realistic sounds of the periscope rotating and the torpedoes firing etc..can someone please tell me the sound mod used in it?

Thanks,

Ren

Hi Stoianm,

Thanks to you I have gotten back into SH5 with the help of your videos and the Darkwraith UI and mega mod.

The only one thing I can't seem to figure out is in your videos when you use the map tools like the protractor and the ruler you have a nice big round bearing wheel surrounding the pointer, this makes it nice and easy to read bearings when using the ruler etc.

However on my map with the tool helper turned on I do get a round bearing wheel around my ruler point etc but it's a lot smaller than your video one and quite a bit harder to read.

Any ideas? or is there an option I missed somewhere?

Many Thanks.

I love this because these are like the only SH5 videos on Youtube that actually use voice. You rock mate.

There is a polish menu.txt in the NewUIsTDC 6.8.0 package.

Dials, MODS, Text are the directories, search the Text folder for folder "Polish" and copy the menu.txt into SilentHunter5/MODS/NewUIs_TDC_6_8_0_TheDarkWraith/data/Menu.
Now enable the NewUIs mod.

Regards.

Echolot.

Hi stoianm!

I learned it from superb tutorials very much.
I have a little question. How you to scroll the compass in this tutorial:

at 3:40 min ?

I try any technique, (my first tip was the mouse wheel,) but doesn't do it. I use with S3Style, and without realnav now (this will be the my next step). I must be use the the S5Enhanced style? (Not working with S3style?) Or working only with the real navigation? Or any other method for accurate setting the compass?

Thanks!

Default Well

Let's go again I've been gone for some time and forgot some important stuff.
You could earn some money working as a sub instructor, only problem would be that someone may get frustrated if you sink their merchant.
By the way great vid's, thanks!
