note pad config

looking into how i can open my game files
.sim
.upcge
.zon

i have downloaded a bunch of apps from my searching but no luck.
have tried the editors in the twos install files, nothing that will open in a notepad style system i am used to.

what is the program i need?

Yes I want to open them and change a few things. I want to change the fuel to a higher number as I enjoy going the long way around in the game.
And a few other things.

To have unlimited fuel, unlimited oxigen, unlimited compressed air, just change the game setting from the option no need to to edit other files and for the "other few thing" no clue what u mean here i can not help u here ...give use more information if u want us to help u !

I am running the the wolves of steel Mega mod. Switching to easy or custom will not give me the unlimited fuel... it semes to be locked out in the in game menue aswell. for other things I want to add some more ammo for my Cannon and things like that giving me a longer time out at sea.

I am used to opening files in a text document style and going thru and finding things I would like to change.
Using over kill mods on the download page change to much data and the mega mod will crash...

You should really only change game play settings when you are in the bunker, however!
If you want to change these in mid patrol then you need to amend some files.

How To Change Game Play Settings At Sea When On Patrol > Pictorial

This tutorial is for how to change your "Renown" so you will use "GamePlaySettings" instead and this will show you how to do it.
The cfg files you need to change are in each position.
When you next load your game session you will see that whatever changes you have made are now in use.

I am having other issues bringing other mods into my twos megamod. I'm going to first get all my skin mods working and then move on to game sub system and then game play. Might have to ask for some mods to he done for me. Donate to the help I can get . Easier to work a extra hour then spend nights doing it my self.

So far I have my sub skin and crew working well. For some resond when I do the reload trick at start of campaign if I add the new coneing tower game will crash on start up. Only if I can add it on...

Be a slow build but when I get it all patched it be a great game

Using
rusted glory working fine.
Helmets for crews works fine.

Happy with this skin so moving onto the sub. The config files the lads have suggested work but I'm not after unlimited just like to add a few more litres of diesel and battery power for sub... Ammo ect. I'm working on a mod I did a year ago for my personal use. Copying the command for the radio guy to also be asked to play the acdc thunder struck song. "My fav when I spot a smoke stack and go into battle stations... Just trying to rember how I did it last time. Just chipping away each night.

I'm going to slowly tick off all the items I want in my sim before I start my long game play.
