I'm surprised that this little nugget seems missing from this thread. If you right-click on a fallen comrade, you can bury him at sea. Works only when surfaced.

Or have his remains crudely sectioned by the exposed pushrods in the engine room, and toss the big chunks into the stew pot. Fresh soup, *not* fish-based, and wihout a base run for more fresh meat. And (eventually) a net loss of mass that the boat has to move.......

No clue. Since I try to make it realistic, I'll head to home waters and bury my dead there. A fitting sendoff.

if you hit "esc" that opens the menu where you can save and stuff.
