Guys, Darkstar, et all: many thanks for supporting Subsim with your Narwhal donations. I will switch the mod to a regular download for a while, so the donation is voluntary. I want everyone to enjoy this goodness.

Can this be used with TMO and RSRD. Seems to run over them fine just starting, but noticed it reverts the options screen where you pick you base back to either stock or TMO, so it doe's change that part of RSRD, which makes me wonder what else.

Anyway could get a TMO/RSRD compatible version so the narhwal does not foul up RSRD start dates etc?

What I did was rename the UPCCampaignData folder and let the Narwhal mod replace the Narwhal already with RSRDC.
as for crew, I just did a good, old-fashioned hotfix from a playable battleship mod that gives me all of the crew back. I just took the CrewMembers.upc from the playable battleship and put it in the Narwhal folder. of course, then only the Narwhal wil have a whole crew, but it;s better than having no crew. I don't play TMO so I'm more or less out for an RFB version.

hey guys, I just dropped in to let you all know that I'm working on a semi-official RFB+RSRDC fix for the Narwhal. actually, TMO users should be able to use this as well, if they use RSRDC. but I'm not 100% on that. I'm doing what I can to work the crewmembers kinks out of it, as well as some weapons not showing up and so on, I'll test it until it's perfect and upload it until the people who work on TMO and RFB can come around and make a proper patch.

well, after an initial test I got the crew members back, but now we have no AA platforms and the boat is using a single 4-inch DG.
This is mostly untested water for me, I started out with things like this to make the nuke boats playable in campaign, but I'm not well-versed on making weapons and stuff all work together. I'll do some more looking to see if I can't find the problem(s) but at least I got the crew back. it's a start
