Enemies of Germany by dates

Hi all Kaleuns,

there was a good info about enemies of Germany in SH3+mods by date. You could look in this window and decide - to attack ship or no, if the flag is enemy - prepare torpedoes, if the flag is neutral - go away. I'm playing Operation Paukenschlag and spotted the ship under flag of Greece in January 1942 near American coast. Can I fire torpedoes?

Greece entered the war in 1940, So it should be...BUT, Watch out you're not firing at a German Merchant Raider...

Wait a minute, SH3 or SH4UBM?

I'm playing SH4UBM, and I don't know what ships can I attack. I saw a ship under flag of Panama and decided that it's neutral. Then I spotted ship under Greece flag, I remembered that Greece was at war with Germany, but the year? was it in 1942 or 1943, or earlier?
I cannot find in the game+mod information about enemies by date, so I don't know to attack or not. May be this information is in the data files?

Historically Greece entered the war in 1940, But in game the German Hilfskreuzers also fly the Greek Flag, so be careful...

Apart from "friendly" neutrals such as Spain, my policy is to sink anything. Panama may be officially listed as neutral (never checked the list), but nearly all Panama-registered tonnage was US-owned and thus enemy.

I had to go to wikipedia for that one, I also thought neutral, but Panama is listed as an ally from Pearl Harbour day...

Ships flying the Panamanian flag participated in some of the Lend-Lease Convoys (Panama was a part of the Pan-American Union so she had to declare war along with the US)

Default neutrals

use common sense... the prob of finding any of them in a combat area is slim...

yet the yanks did sink some soviet ships in norhtern japan...

Default swiss ships

Come to think of it... the swiss never were good ship builders... they sometimes took national pride to far, their ships were the "swiss class" fast merch.. trouble they came with many holes LOL
