And a question I cant jump to the right page in the recmanuall by pressing ships name in the UZO or periscope view, would be a marvelous utility thou.
If you are using OLC's GUI, then after you ID the ship using the weapons officer, you can click on the ship type in the scope and it will open the manual to the right spot. It only works with the attack scope if I remember correctly...

:rotfl: I was about to reply to Capa's comments by making a joke about telling him "HERE! RIGHT HERE! Do you hear it now?" Then you point out that there is a way to actually do that in the game!:rotfl:

The things we learn around here...

SetKeys tool is very useful, with easy to use interface you can modify or add keys to almost everything, i mapped a lot like: Ctrl-s "nearest sound contact" Ctrl-F ''Deck gun fire at will", Ctrl-H "Hold Fire", Ctrl-P Standar Prop., Numpad 0 "WO Solution to target" , Ctrl-A "Aim for waterline", Ctrl-W "Weather", Ctrl-Shift-W "Watch crew on deck", Ctrl-M "Man deck gun", Ctrl-Shift-M "Man the flak gun" etc.
Also you can view all the keys already assigned and learn.
I recommend it.

Here's something I just found out.
If you are within 1,000 meters, with an AOB somewhere around 90 degrees plus or minus 20 degrees, with a bearing of zero degrees plus or minus approximately 20 degrees (in other words, ideal positioning) the vulnerability areas will appear.
And if you lock the uzo or periscope and click on one of the boxes, the torp will hit that spot.

Nice to know!

Yes, in GWX, but read this link because the sweet-spots on ships wont give you a critical hit.

Ghetto II clas sound wheel fix.
In the hydorphones in the IIA/D holding the mouse on the dial and tracing it around the dial will act like you're spining the wheel. As long as the needle is not touching your cursor and your holding down the left click the needle will attempt to seek your cursor in this fashon.

yes, for GWX as well.
But you have to be locked on the target, then press ship:, and the manual opens up on the correct page.

Does it work only after you previously identified the ship manually? I ask because the method doesn't seem to work for me too.
