"1001 Video Games You Must Play Before You Die"
Edited by Tony Mott; published by Cassell; ISBN: 978-1-84403-766-7 Anybody else got this book? It's an overview of the 'best' games over the decades, written by a number of contributors with great style and insight. It's hard to put down once you've started and, with my love of retro, I already have 75 games and sims ticked off in the index; it's a great resource and guide for anyone wanting to start a collection. What other books are recommended?

For anyone who's a Starcraft fan. I'd recommended this book. 4 stories in 1 book. They're all a good read. 2 of the stories does a great job of capturing that feeling of hopelessness by an oncoming Zerg attack.

^I've red the 4 Archives ones (Uprising, Liberty's Crusade, Shadow of the Xel'Naga and Speed of Darkness) with Speed of Darkness being my favorite of the bunch.
Then I also red Queen of Blades and 3 of the 4 Starcraft II novels (Heaven's Devils, Devils' Due and Flashpoint) from which I really like both Heaven's Devils and Devils' Due.
