None I'm afraid, the entire collection is based on a Brit post WWII theme.

Regarding a British Army Alouette II: The XN132 had a plain tail girder without that radar/radio (???) thingy on. Seems there are a few on Ebay (no decals but they can be made) but they all have pig ugly fat girders. Guess 1/72 is a bit small for proper girders. DIY tail and decals seems to be the thing for such a project. Some inspiration here perhaps? http://www.arcair.com/Gal14/13201-13...-Sousa/00.shtm

Looking at your model plane collection brings the thought to mind that almost all planes are built to be obsolete, except for the B-52 that just keeps on serving the USAF with the first flight being 15 April 1952 and of course the Tupolev Tu-95 with the first flight being 12 November 1952
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tupolev_Tu-95 (Few would have believed it would still be on the front-line nearly 60 years later, serving as a strategic bomber, maritime patrol aircraft – and the world’s noisiest spy plane.) Anyway back to your beautiful collection, a collection you can surely be proud of ... but still a thought is a thought and I had to add mine that almost all planes are built to become obsolete.

True that and if you look at my collection you'll find that most of the aircraft within it are just that, obselete.

Yes, MIG 15 indeed was equipped with copied Rolls-Royce Nene engine. British were quite friendly to their archenemy, by giving soviets such advanced technology. Had they not give that engine to russians, the formidable MIG 15 would have been grounded for a long time and maybe north Korea where they fought succesfully never had become reality.
@Jim Beautiful collection.

No problem mate.
"The Nene blunder" certainly isn't the most highlighted thing in the history books and media.

An english friend (Andrew Brodie) who recently died, unfortunately, is said to have brought one Lightning over to the US for restoration.
He said that with a private pilot licence you are allowed to fly the Lightning only up to Mach 1 in Europe, which would make no sense with this bird. They seem to be less prohibitive in the US.. It is an entirely voluntary project with a lot of supporters, and i heard it is finished to almost 90 percent now. http://www.lightning422supporters.co.../backstory.htm Of course, rebuilding a Lightning after having restored Citroen SMs is a joke, the Cit is much more complicated
