Default en_menu.txt modified

I entered those entries from the H.sie patch manually in the install folder (in my case C:\SilentHunter\Data\Menu). But when I load the game, I see a bunch of empty text when the CE is trying to say something. I went back and what I entered is gone. Re pasted it, made sure it saved, load the game, CE's messages still blank. Open the file again and gone.

It looks like it reloads the default en_menu.txt file each time and erases my entries. Am I putting those in the right place/folder?

Default H.sei patch problem

Go back and read section "3.1) Adding the new messages" in the readme_V16B1 that comes with the H.sei patch zip file. I followed those instructions and have not had a problem. The way you did it does not follow the instructions he gives...I would have thought what you did would have worked but it looks like that is not the case.

To me this sounds like you use a 64bit system and have installed SH3 not in C:\SilentHunter but in an Windows-protected storage folder like C:\Program Files (x86)\SilentHunter.

Greetings.
