Default Does someone have this book ?

Good evening Gentlemen,

I'm actually wirtting a mission which recreates the battle for PQ13 convoy, an arctic convoy in March 1942. I would like it to be as historical as possible. I have read some books about it, but some pictures are missing. So, is someone having the book : The Royal Navy and the Arctic Convoys. A Naval Staff History ?

In chapter II, I would like to have the 2 pictures of the map in good resolution (Fig 4 and 5).

Thanks in advance !

A little detailed required reading and an interactive map-of all the PQ convoys. http://uboat.net/ops/convoys/convoys.php?convoy=PQ-13

Winston Churchill had predicted the Arctic Convoys would be "the worst journey in the world". The biggest disaster in naval history befell Convoy PQ17.
Between August 1941 and May 1945, the Arctic Convoys delivered more than 4 million tons of cargo to Russia including at least 7,000 airplanes, 5,000 tanks, trucks, tires, fuel, food, medicine, clothes, metals and other raw materials. Being from Minnesota, incl. driving hopelessly ice-encrusted eighteen-wheelers, this had to suck aboard an escort cruiser HMS Sheffield:

Thank you Sir, i have already read this of course.

And also this :

- WWII Sea War, vol 5, March 1942
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Convoy_PQ_13
- http://www.warsailors.com/convoys/pq13.html
- http://www.naval-history.net/WW2Camp...ianConvoys.htm
- http://www.usmm.org/europe.html

But I can't find any detailed map on PQ13 !

I'm not living in an English-speaking country, so I can't have access to this book. Could anyone go in a library, borrow the book i've mentioned in my first message, and send me the 2 maps please ?

You're welcome. I still haven't found any map of the PQ13 convoy's ships' route.
