Default AUX?

Whats the icon AUX mean First i thought it must be a milkcow but that can't be right cause im in a IXD2 and dont travel far from Penang to Indian ocean.

Silly question & i should know this so i bet its something simple lol. So whats an Aux?

Running RSRDC 310v 1.5 and one other air mod.

These might be the surface support vessels where you can ask for assistance while on patrol. They might work in the same way as the friendly airbases.

Click on them.

I think your right, someone mention in another thread about having to click on icons to get support this must be them. They weren't there in the last patrols just pop up in this one must be a certain time they trigger to show up. Will try it next time i load the game up.

Yes it works! Well it tells me a cruiser will support me in the attack etc., trouble is i called it way to early i just wanted to know what this does, click on the icon then set waypoints for the ship to travel - i was a couple 100miles from the icon though shadowing a small taskforce - two light cruisers 4 escorts. So never got to know whether the ship showed up or not cause two of the leading destroyers caught me on the surface so i had to dive and evade.

But good to know the icons are there.

Anyways im still evading, two escorts above me somewhere!

Not only could you use them for attack support but I suspect you can use them for contact reports/recon.

This addition is very welcome.
