From what I've seen, I don't think it can really be done on Windows 10, unfortunately.

One option you can try is to install a "Windows XP Mode" virtual machine.

It's available freely on the MS website. I think you need an old copy of windows XP to do it though.

You also need something called "Hyper-V".

You should be able to set the graphics inside the VM to 16 bit and then run DW like that. little bit of a kludgy solution but it works fairly well especially if your computer is powerful. Should be able to run DW even at max time compression.

I'm not super familiar with windows-10, I'll never install it because of these kinds of problems, but a little googling of the above solution should let you play DW.

Default Some questions for FPSchazly

Over the last few days, I managed to get both DW and Sub Command working in Win10 by reading dozens of posts on these forums.

I have 2 versions of DW, one a combined stock/LWami [JSGME] and the other is updated with RA 1.41.

I also have 2 versions of SC, one stock and the other updated to SCX.

My questions are:

What versions of DW and SC do you use for your videos?

What versions of DW and SC do you use when you actually play the games?

I have just started to look at your SC videos, although they seem to be harder to group together then your DW videos. Is there one playlist that has all of your SC videos?

What is the Sub Command in DW videos about? Did you say that you converted SC missions into DW missions in RA? If so, are they available?

-All my SC videos are stock and for DW, I list the mod and version number in the title.

-Yes, go to the playlist tab of my channel and it will have the Sub Command campaigns. They are also under the "all dangerous waters videos" link in my signature.

-This is doing the Sub Command 688(i) campaign in Dangerous Waters with RA. They are not yet available. At first, I was doing a very minimally modified port of this SC campaign to DW, but after discussion with Nippelspanner, I'm going to completely redo them (remaster may be a better word). So, they are not done and that will take a little while.
