Hi guys!

Thx for your positive feedback so far... also keep in mind that not every mod has been made by me but also from this great community whitch is still very active after years.

It is great news that this new version runs smoother with all the new eye candy which I don´t call eyecandy but an improved realistic atmosphere
Because every new detail improves the immersion!

Default No Fatigue for WAC 4.1

Things has been changed in WAC 4.1 (longer repair times) ... etc. etc.

If people want a "no fatigue mod" - especially made for WAC 4.1 - click on the link below and read about the mod.

Good hunting!

1) How can I change the repair times back to how I like it, 10 days ?

2) Also, I notice that adding sub skins is not done the same way. Just downloading and enabling with JSGME is no longer possible. You have to manually change the sub skin manually in the Dat files within the Submarine and Objects folders. Is there an easier way ?

3) This is my Bonus Question, because it has nothing to do with WAC. I have a little annoying problem with TC (I think it's caused by Mav's GWX Addon Mod for the 6 dials). When I use TC, it skips a setting. Like when I'm paused at Zero, and I use my hotkey, it goes directly to 2x, then 8x, then 32x etc etc... (Manually doing it from the Console works normally, I guess I'm lazy, lol) Does anyone know how to fix this, or am I the only one ever to have this happen to them.

Thanks,
Tudds

YES ! we have the winner ! WAC 4.1 is by far the BEST supermod on graphics section ! (NYGM at sensors section, imo)

these detailed subs by Tespilot are simply amazing !

Hansolo ,so far the wac 4.1 is stable and this is the best improvement of all the rest!

WAC proved that is not 'afraid' to 'add' things in game (that was the price it paid so long by 'loosing' its stability but not any more).almost every good mod ever made for sh3 is included in WAC 4.1,not to mention all the others new superb additions !!the results are on your... screens

as i said Hansolo, you couldn't find a better way to say 'goodbye' to sh3 !
(@Tuddley: i didn't said that Hansolo is retiring but you will agree with me that there would be no......wac 5 )

well done sir, really ...well done !

BRAVO !

@Robbie, its going great... I took a plane back to brazil cos I met a canadian girl and we fell in love... she's coming here at october 26th so we can backpack to Antarctic together... =)

@Makman, YES! I readed the WAC 4.1 manual from cover to cover and I was really impressed. In my opinion this can turn out to be the best supermod so far. I gotta put my eyes on the sensors and the general realism of the simulation... but if its as good as the rest I saw, wordless...

Im just crying my eyes out cos I have vista 64 and WAC won't work on vista. Im hoping for a miracle...

That's a professional speaking. Details are great: barking dogs, train & birds whistle, moving cranes etc. As this game is very immersive by itselfd this mod is the way forward. Outstanding job Han! Of course thanks to all other contributions.

Vista users!
I want to recall about my post https://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?p=1122792. I'm still not sure about Vista 32, but on my Vista 64 it works.

i go along with all these compliments!

great work for such a small team. if one thinks about, what could have been done in the last 4 years, if there would have been ONE team, that fits all. unbelievable. maybe this point is remarkable for future SH5 modding - not 4(!) different "supermods", just one "MEGAMOD".

anyway. han...

you have really done great work so far. over the years i tried all 4 supermods (with small additional individual mods), including yours. and i must say, as good the gameplay from a lvsh is, as good the overall presentation of a gwx is, as good as wac - none of these mods ever has become. i often wished i had found more time, to take part in the modding here...and help people like you.

but my studies ended in 2005 and from 2006 on, there was a lot of real-life work to do. sad...but i remember, touching mostly all topics of the supermods as: sfx, gui, skinning, modeling, texturing, etc. maybe some remember urfischs first mod packages, with grammophone tracks, the new leitz binocs, new periscope lenses, new UZO model, new flaks, new menue- and loading-screens, new medals, new wind affected smoke and fire, etc. but there simply was no more time, to finish most of them.

since 1993 i have played and modified a lot of games. but for me, sh3 will be remembered the most and best modded game ever. with a really impressive, engaged and passioned community.

THX A LOT HAN! AND ALL OTHER SMALL AND GREAT MODDERS ROUND HERE.

regards
urfisch

Thats good news about vista 64 as I have just got a new PC with 64 and 8 GB Ram- does mine still need this patch with all this RAM?

Many thanks!

@robbythesub

Yes, you still need to use the patch. SH3 engine can't use more than 2 GB of memory, but on Vista for some reason it uses more memory for WAC, ie more than 2 GB. So this patch is something like a hack that allows the game engine to use up to 3 GB on 32-bit Vista and 4 GB on 64-bit.
