Just like in real life. The dumbest and biggest pri..s have the 'best' gear, or at least the most expensive (but nothing to do with taste). Has something to do with elbows, egomanic behaviour and somatic effort.

We had a small missing person alert on Sunday.
My friends brother in law didn't return home after the bonfire on Saturday and everyone panicked he got drunk, slipped somewhere in the woods and was dead or dying from hipothermia. So we started organising a small search and rescue party, I was gathering info on where he might be when my friend calls me and says he returned home allright.

Now the full story surfaced, he went to the bonfire, drank 2 glasses of wine, when he returned home he realised he forgot his keys, wife was at her parents for the hollidays and his parents were asleep and didn't hear the doorbell. So he went to sleep in the shed behind the house.
I was in the middle of a search and rescue effort for someone that was sleeping 10m from his home.
