I copy American Montana BB to the German side. But I have lost radar and sonar. They present in the ship, but in switchoff condition and not switch on. In what there can be an error? How correctly to add equipment on ship? Simple copying equipment to sub.upcge file does not give results.

I agree, this is definitely a much needed tutorial for new modders and deserves to be made a sticky.

I just used this tutorial to put the SSN Nautilus (not the jules verne or the narwhal one) into the game, it was easy as pie!

So what about equipment? How to achieve compatibility of the equipment at change of an accessory of the ship(radars, sonar's and another)? Sorry for my bad English.
