Two ways really, you can either extract it using 7zip. You have to select extract to "USS St.Louis (CL-49) skin\" option to your MODS folder and enable it in JSGME, or you can just extract NCL_Brooklyn_O01.dds to desktop and then copy it into NCL_Brooklyn folder and let it overwrite.

if you have winrar or 7zip

1) *right click* the USS_St.Louis (CL-49) Skin.zip
and choose the option "Extract to USS_St.Louis (CL-49) Skin"

2) move the folder named USS_St.Louis (CL-49) Skin to:
ubisoft\Silent Hunter 4\MODS

using jonesoft generic mod enabler

I'm a bit of a 3D modeler myself and must say that's a very nice looking
and well textured low poly model. how many triangles does it have compared
with other sh4 stock models?

I'm also curious how this cruiser will work..

Are you somehow adding in a playable Royal Netherlands career campaign?
or is it something your placing in as an AI unit threw the mission editor?

First of all, I didn´t make the 3d model and textures, miner1436 did, and I agree, it is a very nice ship.

It works like any other playable ship, the career is the same. But I restricted it to bases in Australia, that is as much as I can do.

Unfortunately, the only thing Dutch on this ship (at least in SH4) is the flag.

Ok, De Ruyter cruiser is up, thanks to miner1436, who game me permission to convert it to playable ship and upload it.
It includes files to merge it into older ShipPack.

I also uploaded updated versions of my ShipPack (now it includes De Ruyter CL) and Core files, links are on the first page.

I'm trying not to hijack his thread, or speak for him but..

Monatana hasn't been added to this shippack so probably not.

Recently I added a playable "North Carolina" to (my copy) of cdp44's mod which is basically someone else's
altered version of the playable Iowa/Montana to have one less turret on the aft, but unfortunately I don't have
permissions by both Authors so I wont be releasing anything..

Besides that as cdp44 explained to me, there are many small conflicting issues with his mod and this ship,
so in a nutshell maybe if cdp44 decides to add his own version of it to his mod at some point,
I will make you Sailors a skin ..That', I can share

you may have misread my post..

1) The montana IS NOT in his shippack mod.
it's probably in RFB Mod or something else you have enabled on top of his.

2) He does not require giving me permissions, as he would have to remake his own version from scratch
If he decided to add it in by doing all the hard work himself & incorporating it into his own mod.

Being it's a stock ship that came with sh4 he really doesn't "need" to ask anyone if he makes his own version.
you just need to ask him to make it & I'm sure that message has already been received.
