Red flares for SH4?

Hi mates: I want to know if there is some mod for red flares (when ships are sinking). I think I could do a mod for that, but I don´t want to work in an already made mod...

I've seen videos from SH3 showing that Mod. Looks pretty cool, but what is the historical accuracy of torpedoed ships firing off distress flares, especially in a convoy at night?

If they were used, I'm all for your Mod!
