change the SLS-MODs like this:
_LSH3_V5.1_SLS_Schiffshorn-Leuchtkugeln-Seenotsignal
_LSH3_V5.1_SLS_Spezialeffekte-Gross
_LSH3_V5.1_SLS_Sinkverhalten-SH3

But this would not be the matter.

Please try a career-start at one of the french bases!

Any base is is good but Kiel and WHV - these are the largest harbours in game (as a base).

Unfortunately, this means I'll be unable to start in 1939. It almost acts as if there is a corrupted object in the Kiel harbor as it crashes pretty consistently part way out of the harbor.

Given my frustration level, I may simply return to stock.
