Default Just a matter of time before we cross swords with Iran

http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/09/politi...ots/index.html

Quote:
A US Navy ship fired warning shots at Iranian boats on Sunday near the Strait of Hormuz, US Defense officials said Monday. Five Iranian vessels approached the USS Mahan and two other US ships that were entering the strait, according to accounts from four sources. The Strait of Hormuz is situated between the Gulf of Oman and the Persian Gulf.
Interesting side note.

During the interaction, Iran put up a small unmanned aerial vehicle.

I didn't know Tehran was so far from the gulf till I saw this chart.

I don't think that this would end in a war.

Not a nuclear war, but a few admirals are not too happy with the capture and treatment of our swift boats.

Just a reduction in the Iranian Navy I would think.

I Fear there will come a war between USA and Iran, when it will start I don't know.

I guess Trump will rip the atomic agreement with Iran in pieces and make some hard demands. Which off course Iran can't or wouldn't obey.

This is what I think.

You mean POTUSSR, right? Besides that they got it from the USA via way of Bill Clinton's deal to let Canada have the rights to uranium in Wyoming to send to them.

Iran is not our friend ... should be apparent by now.
