Default TIK's Operation Market Garden documentary series

Heya,

Thought I'd share this here as the last episode was just released.

TIK (aka TheImperatorKnight) from youtubes has made an eight part documentary about Operation Market Garden. It is his first such project, so the presentation is a bit lacking, but it is very detailed otherwise.

"What was the plan? Who planned Operation Market Garden? Let's take a look at what the Allies were trying to achieve and why."

****

"
Allied airborne forces descend from the skies on September 17th 1944. Operation Market Garden has begun! Will the Allies capture all their bridges on time?"

****

"
Viktor Graebner's Recon Squadron drives across the Arnhem Road Bridge on 18th September 1944. A decisive attempt at victory or a disastrous decision?"

****

"
Another attempt to get to Frost at Arnhem bridge by 1st Airborne goes in on this day... Will it succeed? General Roy Urquhart doesn't think so."

****

"Today we see the formation of the Oosterbeek pocket and two mirrored last stands at both Arnhem and Nijmegen. Who will fall first?"

****

"
Day five of Operation Market Garden and things aren't going well for the Allies."

****

"
The British hold on at Oosterbeek, but the battle is lost. Now it's just a question of how to get the paras out of the Witches' Cauldron."

****

"
Who's fault was it that the tanks never got to Arnhem? Let's see what historians think."
