This bloke's name came up when I was talking to a facebook pal earlier... he was actually a Cypriot, which I never knew. I always assumed he was Egyptian

He was in loads of movies and TV shows when I was a kid, usually playing the villain. Here he is baddie priest Mehemet Bey in Hammer's "The Mummy"

Star Trek 4 cancelled. Always been a big fan of the original and follow on series but the Abram's reboot in 2009 was done in such a stupid way that I had zero interest in watching any more of his renditions. I liked the cast selections well enough that at first I thought it would be great but for the most part it was ruined with some really ridiculous scenes. I never watched the 2nd or 3rd ones until this weekend and they just confirmed my bad feelings so I wasn't surprised to see the next one effectively cancelled.
