How about CPU ? This game is not so CPU intensive, but it's still a big big factor in performance usually.

I play Rise of flight mostly now , and the Windows 7 - dual core combination is terrible for performance.

BTW, the $300 wasn't a waste because you now have a good card for other games ! Good move.

Default same problem with 295 gtx

I had gtx 260 and went to 295.The 260 stuttered when using the deck gun. now with 295 it freezes. what the hell?my system is 1000 bfg psu-amd quad-xp64bit os. I did the driver cleaner install latest drives-older drivers nothing change except sometimes it crashes after freezing. back to 260-anyone want a 295 ? i cant get the sob to work.

My CPU is a E6850 overclocked to 3.41Ghz and my GFX card is a GTX285 ... And all i can i say is that the frame rate is sluggish. Ive seen it dropping to 30fps at times. I can't understand it. I can play Crysis with everything maxed out, on 1920x1200 with 2x antialising, and still have a smooth framerate, and this game here runs slow. It is even more obvious inside the submarine pen. That's bad programming i guess.

Well Doh i am using Windows 7 64 Bit. Furmark runs as good as gold. 32 bit programes still run on a 64 bit system. I am running a e6400 core duo overclocked from 2.13GHZ to 3.00GHZ and two GTX 260s in sli.In furmark at 1680x1050 full screen i get a maximum of 180 fps. With SLI off a single 260 gets a max of 92. So if he is getting a lot less than that its a good indication that his card is stuffed
