Kriller, that bending should be there. When you get a sunrise/sunset with fog on the horizon you will often get that bending effect. Notice the welling effect at the botm of the sun. I think its something to do with the fog bending the light from the sun and creating this effect. So don't remove it its realistic.

I already told Kriller2 about it AVGWarhawk and I had a lot of talk about it in a few threads explaining that to people. I just got through telling Kriller2 in a PM that is good to go. But those pictures prove it!

Most definitly should be there. The pics Mrbeast posted look very much like what you created Kriller. Hats off to you. Keep the renderings like you have them

OMG yesterday I was looking from my window at a sunrise here at the mediterranean and thinking to myself: "Dargn, this looks almost as real as SH4 with Leo's Reflections mod"

Look what you have achieved

Same for me Hitman and it was just this morning as the sun was reflecting off the Chesapeake Bay. I see it every morning while drinking coffee sitting on my back deck. Incredible how Leo and Kriller got reflections and colors down to a science now.

Default a new sun Halo being worked on for the mod

Not done yet but shaping up well! Thanks Jaketoox for working on this for the Mod!

It will hug closer to the sun as you can see and the lens flair effect you will get with out having to have that enabled in your game.

Plus I found more Global environmental controls for the game and working on enhancing Kriller2's new work even more with the water reflections.

I also found the problem with some of the sub conning tower reflections being gray until you get close I will be posting a download for the sub reflections lator on vs_2.

ROW Saved My Boat

I decided to start over again with all the latest ROW downloads - finished tweaking out my new install and started a brand new career tonight with a first patrol out of Cavite in mid-December 1941. Ordered to patrol the Celebes Sea and engage any enemy shipping, I plotted my course through the tricky NW passage into the Sea and then swithced to the nav map for a high-TC run through the straits. I thought I had zoomed in far enough to plot a safe course, so I was just staring at the nav map listening to some Glenn Miller tunes on the gramophone when I noticed that it was almost dawn.

So, I went up to the bridge to check out another great ROW sunrise, and lo and behold, off in the distance dead ahead was the looming shape of an island rising up out of the water. I decided to go check my course again, and discovered to my chagrin that one more zoom level revealed my plotted course cut straight though a tiny island in the straits - if it hadn't been for ROW, I'd have plowed right into it at high TC and brought the short career of Lt.Cmdr. Pete Panther to quick and ignominious end.

Thanks Leo and all the ROW team - the silent service owes you a great debt

Default Nice shot rcjonessnp175

thanks for posting it! And here are two of my own.

By the way I posted a new download for the Sub reflections it is vs_2 now. Found the problem on why top of the conning tower showed up as a gray reflection till you got closer. Went over all the files and fixed the missed changes.
