Default RA 1.1 or DWX 1.1 is OUT [Pointer only]

As announced in this thread

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...145517&page=66

Download link

Haven't tried it much but the new interior pinging is very much welcome as it's easier to the ears.

Thank you for the RA team that made this possible.

And if you view yourself a naval warfare enthusiast this mod is a must

Hi Ollix you need to install this to a new installed vanilla DW patched to 1.04(without any other mod installed).

I'm not having issue with my installation. Perhaps you could ask this in the link provided in the first post.

with a lot of handwork u can manage to install it even in the german version.
The file endings in the german version are different from the english version. for example:
in the german version there is a file named airstrip.gad.
Just rename it to airstrip.ead.
And thats for all files, if the endings starts with *.g rename it to *.e then install RA and rename the files back to *.g. and voila u have a german RA Mod
You will loose some german text files which are now english but i think you can live with that.

Since I'm getting no response in the official RA thread, I thought I'd ask here if the 1.0 AI issues, particularly Aegis and submarine counterfire, have been fixed or at least improved in 1.1. Does anyone on these forums know? Does the RA/DWX documentation mention all the changes in 1.1 anywhere?

I just want to verify for the record; This RA patch is to be installed on a clean DW install with 1.04b upgrade, and this does NOT run with any other patch (i.e.: LWAMI, etc), correct ??

Default RA Install error

I have been trying to install RA but get a "Debug assertion failed" and the install locks up. Any ideas?

Is there an alternative download link as crazyivan.nextmail.ru fails for me.

Subsequent DNS lookups fail as well.

I have the same problem with RA/DWX and like Ollix79 I have the german version of DW. I tried to rename the file-endings of the database files from .gxx to .exx and back to .gxx like Delareon said but it didn't work. I even tried to edit the registry because there are entrys for the language and the first letter of the fileendings but nothing worked.
Is there any other way to get the mod working with the german version?

To play the german version you must rename the "TextE.dll" and "TextCE.dll" files in the interfaces folder for each unit to "TextG.dll" and "TextCE.dll", too.

Without this changes the german .exe wouldnt adress this files correct and an error appears.

I did this since the first version of DWX relaised.

Und ja, ich komm aus Deutschland...:P

ty for your fast help but unfortunately it's still not working. I think you meant I should rename the "TextCE.dll" files to "TextCG.dll" but I have done this and the game is still crashing right after the Reinforced Alert-Screen and the intro. You said the german .exe wouldn't adress them without this changes but if I install the mod, the german .exe will be replaced by the english .exe from RA/DWX. So maybe that's the problem?

Schoen hier auf Landsleute zu treffen

Did an error message appear? If not, there is an other issue for the crash.
