There's also another great solitaire U-boat wargame that was released last year based on the same system as The Hunters and Silent Victory, but takes place in World War I. Very detailed and fun. It's called Raiders of the Deep. While it isn't cheap, the game has so much content that I feel it is more than worth the price. And replayability is very high. Includes 19 different U-boat models to command!

I have the hunters. Awesome game, very repayable. It's expensive but fun.

Yes! All 4 of the games in the series are awesome. They are all based on the same streamlined system and the rules are easy to learn. Gameplay is smooth and quick, and are all very replayable.

What I love most about these games is that they realistically simulate being in command of a US submarine or German U-boat, with enough details to satisfy. A computer isn't required to play them- just some table space and 15-30 minutes per mission. These tabletop wargames are actually better than computer games in my opinion. Easier on the eyes, too.

And regarding the price, The Hunters 30% off P500 pre-order price is only $31 right now. A bargain for what you get, considering all of the research and work that went into creating it. I paid $75 sale price for Raiders of the Deep, but it was still worth it.

To get involved in the Campaign, email me personally ray6751@gmail.com and I will want to know your real name or a game name to avoid having captains with names that are email addresses.

The play is not done on Subsim forum, but by emails. You play your patrols and report to your Flotilla Komandant at the end. More details on the web site.
