Recent Mission to Cape Town - Undetected Battleships???
Recently, we were directed to infiltrate Cape Town and perform photo recon. We were pleased to have a driving rain provide cover for this mission. We passed a light cruiser at the mouth of the harbour and continued in towards the moorings.
Our attack map showed a number of ships in the harbour, to include tugs and trawlers. However, I was surprised to see not one, but two King George IV class battleships at anchor, neither of which appeared on our map or radar. Being low on ordnance, I left the battleships be and sank all the tankers at the docks. We also sank the light cruiser at its moorings as we left the harbour, still hidden by the heavy squall. How are these battleships not visible???

Are you playin OPMonsun? Look in the \data\sea\KingGeorgeWhatever directory and see if it has a .dds file in there. Look at it with Paint.net, which can natively handle .dds graphics files. I'll bet its an empty frame! That should be a silhouette of the ship there. Copy the .dds file from the folder of any other battleship, paste it into the King George directory and rename it to the same name as the original defective King George file.
That would fix the nav map.
