... i wil do my best... soon i will finish my long hollyday and i will be back on the highway... so i will not have time anymore for games or for movies... in meantime i try to cover all the sh5 play aspect

Hi:

Stoianm, you have 54º on idle? I have 2 overlocked GTX 460 to 850mhz in SLI and my temps are 31º for the first card and 40º for the 2nd one with low rpm setting, what is you temperature in you country now? very hot? case air?

(Most reference 4XX card idles are from 30c to 40c depending on the circumstances, 54º is too much even for very low rpm idle settings)

No... i have not like that in idle... when i started my tutorial i just closed the sh5... in the room where is my computer is hot... because i am like now in hollyday at my parents place in the mountains.. so because outside is cold... in the room is hot from the cheminee... and the computer has a little case.. not well ventilated... it is my mother old computer

under load my card has been running at 100 c LOL....off load it runs about 70 c....mine is a 5700 HD but i have it overclocked...and its not the best ventalated....

I am running an asus 5870
Big case , 200mm case fans .
Downclocked to 5850 specs .
I run SH5 at max 32FPS .
Idles at 40degC / Runs the game at 65degC max .

yeh maybe i should put in that cfg file to max it at 32 frames...I play alot of other games as well tho too, and they run kinda hot themselves on the video card

- i used to teach history manny years ago - and i know methods that i used with my students in that times that i aplie in these tutorials... to make them interesting.. tricky
